News: Drivers unaware passengers can claim too

Many drivers and passengers are unaware who can make a personal injury compensation claim following a road traffic accident. Both drivers and passengers may receive injuries including whiplash, broken bones and as a result of a car crash, and many people do not know that anyone injured can usually make a compensation claim for personal injury.

Anyone injured during a car crash can claim personal injury compensation if the crash was not their fault. Therefore, if a passenger is injured because the driver was driving carelessly, they have the right to claim compensation for any injuries sustained. Even passengers under the age of 18 can make a personal injury compensation claim, providing a parent is willing to make a claim on their behalf.
