Many personal injury lawyers and accident insurers have seen a massive influx in claims over the last few days, as the heavy snow and icy conditions have caused travel chaos up and down the UK.
Monday 21st December 2009, the AA Group dealt with more than 800 accident claims caused by snow fall, the highest number of claims the group has seen in one day since February.
Weather forecasters have said that there may be more ‘problematic’ conditions on the way which may disrupt thousands of Christmas getaway plans, and potentially cause more accidents on the roads.
