Man suffers facial injury after trying to stop fight

According to newburytoday.co.uk, a 23 year old man from the Hungerford area was left needing hospital treatment for a bite to his cheek after he tried to intervene in a fight.
The man received the facial injury while attempting to break up two men whom were fighting on the village bandstand. The injured man required 11 stitches to his facial injury. The incident is thought to have happened at a Party in the Park event at around 11pm on Saturday, June 27.
This police are asking for witnesses to the fight, as is common in these kind of criminal injury incidents.
